Nvidia Announces DLSS Frame Generation Preset C Beta
Nvidia releases a beta for DLSS Frame Generation's new Preset C, promising faster frame rates.
Nvidia has released a new “Preset C” beta for DLSS Frame Generation and Multi-Frame Generation. According to OC3D, the preset replaces the second AI model with a lighter algorithm designed to boost frame rates.
On an RTX 5060, Preset C can be up to 35% faster than existing models. Club386 reports that it reduces performance costs by 10% in 2× mode, 23.8% in 4× mode, and 36.4% in 6× mode when playing Cyberpunk 2077 at 1440p.
The beta is available through the Nvidia App, which users must opt into via Settings > About. Preset C can be enabled under Custom DLSS Override – Model Presets in the Graphics section.
