YMTC Prepares LPDDR5X Production Launch
According to TechPowerUp, YMTC is gearing up for mass production of LPDDR5X memory chips.

TechPowerUp reports that YMTC is preparing to launch mass production of its LPDDR5X memory. The company has been manufacturing roughly 5,000 wafers monthly of 16 Gb LPDDR5X DRAM running at 7,500 MT/s at Fab 2 since October 2025.
Club386 says the upcoming 9,600 MT/s chips will use Vertical Channel Transistor (VCT) 4F² cell structure technology. YMTC plans to repurpose its proprietary Xtacking 4.0 technology for these new chips, which involves hybrid bonding wafer-to-wafer stacking.
